Instructions to Build Instrument Substitutes

Supplies
- 2 1.5 inch corner brackets
- 2 1 inch corner brackets
- 2 6 inch X ¾ inch metal bars with pre-drilled screw holes
- 4 ½ inch screws with a very flat head
- 4 hexagonal nuts
Equipment
- Screw driver
- Pliers
- Take a metal bar and one of the 1 ½ inch corner brackets and one of the 1 inch corner brackets
- Using one of the screws assemble the corner bracket such that it is on top of the metal bar
- Place the screw from underneath and tighten the hexagonal nut on top using the pliers and screw driver
- The assembly should provide as smooth of a surface to the underside of the army navy such that it will not interfere with dissection
- Repeat this step for the other corner bracket
- Repeat steps 1-5 for the other army navy
